Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, Jill Armstrong has always felt at home in open spaces under big skies, however a sense of adventure and hiraeth (a Welsh word meaning a feeling of longing or homesickness for a place that may not even exist) has taken her around the world in search of new sights, homes, friends, family, and adventures. Jill's teaching focuses on community growth and involvement, especially by connecting the arts with community outreach and engaging her students in the world around them.
